Esteem Cleaning understand the important of environmental impact and are constantly evolving to do more. We also understand that people have strong views on what is right, which is why we offer Vegan and Eco cleaning product options as well as providing transparency on what we are doing to minimise our impact
Reducing Waste
During 2022 we have significantly cut back on the amount of waste product, including single use plastics. We do this by buying cleaning products which we can get in larger containers and decanting them into our cleaning bottles. We can do this with floor cleaner, surface cleaner, bathroom and kitchen cleaner.
Eco-Friendly Products
We only use products which meet the Cleanright standard (https://cleanright.eu/en) and Esteem Cleaning follows the Cleanright Sustainable Cleaning Charter https://cleanright.eu/en/sustainable-use.html
Vegan Cleaning
We offer a Vegan and Eco cleaning service where requested and for this we use locally sourced products from Bio D. A Hull based company which manufactures Bio D here in Hull, their products are certified Vegan, cruelty Free, hypoallergenic and free from petrochemicals, phosphates, preservatives, enzymes and synthetic perfumes. Their bottles are also made from 100% recycled plastic.
Sustainable Practices
Where possible we shop locally, reducing emissions and supporting local businesses. The Vegan and Eco cleaning products we use are manufactured in Hull from local business Bio D.
